Winners of online quiz “Proud of Vietnam” announced

The quiz was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945) and National Day (September 2).

HCM City (VNA) – Ten organisations and 48 individuals who won the online quiz “Proud of Vietnam” – Phase 1 on Vietnam’s history, achievements and development directions, were awarded at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on April 26.

The quiz, organised by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, the HCM City Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, attracted 1.5 million contestants in its first phase from March 8-29.

Head of the commission’s information and external affairs department Do Phuong Thao, who is also head of the contest's organisation committee, stressed that the quiz was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945) and National Day (September 2).

She also highlighted its importance in promoting patriotism and revolutionary ideals among the present generation

The second phase of the quiz will run from now to August.

On this occasion, the municipal Party Committee wrapped up the writing contest on defending the ideological foundation of the Party and combating wrong and hostile viewpoints in HCM City for 2023-2024 period.

The contest aims to select outstanding works to support the communication work in implementing the Politburo's Resolution 35-NQ/TW on further protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and combating and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints in the new context.

𝓀 Among 1,500 entries, the judging panel selected two first, four second, six third, eight consolation prizes, four promising prizes, and ten outstanding collectives./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
