Singaporebased renewables developer The Blue Circle and its Vietnamese partner TSV began construction of Dam Nai wind power plant in Tan Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province.
Ninh Thuan (VNA) – Singapore– based renewables developer The Blue Circle and its Vietnamese partner TSV beganconstruction of Dam Nai wind power plant on April 28 in Tan Hai commune, NinhHai district, the central province of Ninh Thuan. The 40-MW wind park is built onan area of 9.6 hectares with a total investment of 80 million USD. The project consists of twophases, of which the first phase is expected to finish by October 2017 withthree turbines operating. A total of 16 turbines will be fully operational inthe second phase which lasts to October 2018.
Turbines used for the wind farmwill be supplied by Spain’s Gamesa. With a capacity of 2,625 MW and a diameterof 114 metres, it is the largest wind turbine installed in Vietnam so far. 🍌 Investors have been asked tomobilise all resources to implement the project promptly and ensure work andenvironment safety.
The provincial People’sCommittee has directed local authorities to create favourable conditions tosupport investors during the project construction and their business in thelocalities.
