WinCommerce (WCM), Vietnam’s largest retailer under Masan Group, opened 318 new stores, meeting over 45% of its annual target of 400-700. Nearly 75% of these are WinMart+ outlets in rural areas, tapping rising demand for modern retail.
Recently, in addition to improving service quality and restructuring models, retail systems have continuously increased the number of their stores and supermarkets in Vietnam, showing that the domestic retail market still has an ample room for development.
Masan Group Corporation had net revenues of 57.47 trillion VND (2.34 billion USD) in the first nine months of the year, a 3.5% rise year-in-year, according to its recent unaudited financial reports.
WinCommerce, the retail arm of Masan Group, which operates WinMart/WinMart+ supermarkets and minimarts, has planned to open over 700 new WinMart+ stores and more than 20 WinMart supermarkets and hypermarkets in the remaining months of 2022.
