Website on territorial borders opens

The National Border Committee (NBC) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 3 debuted a website on Vietnam’s territorial borders at //biengioilanhtho.gov.vn.
The National Border Committee (NBC)under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 3 debuted a websiteon Vietnam’s territorial borders at //biengioilanhtho.gov.vn.

According to the NBC, this is Vietnam’s official information channelfor the views of the Vietnamese Party and State, their guidelines andpolicies, as well as other information and documentation on territorialborder work. The purpose of the site is to improve public awareness ofterritorial borders, and strengthen friendship and cooperation withneighbouring countries.

The website, built and operated by the NBC, also aims to counterincorrect information and arguments on issues pertaining to Vietnam’sterritorial borders.

The website comprises 10 main categories of information, includingnews, related events, legal documents, historical documents, maps,international law, a photo library, useful information and a column forresearchers./.
