HCM City (VNA)🌄 — The 2021 Vung Tau TasteWeek will take place from April 24 to May 2 in thecoastal city, featuring a wide range of cuisine, art andentertainment activities, the city People’s Committee has announced.

More than100 booths will showcase popular dishes and street foods from thesouthern city and other localities across the country. Cooking demonstrationsand contests, fruit and vegetable carving and bartending exhibitions willalso be a highlight of the event. Music and magicperformances with the participation of popular singers and artists willentertain visitors every night. Hoang Vu Thanh, actingchairman of the city People’s Committee, told a meeting held recently toannounce the event that it is part of the city’s efforts to promote beachtourism, a main driver of its development. The city has entrustedthe Ba Rịa-Vung Tau province Tourism Association and Sea Star Sai Gon JSCwith organising the event./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
