Ambassador Vu Ho called Party General Secretary To Lam's visit a diplomatic milestone - the first time a Party chief of Vietnam is welcomed as a state guest immediately after a new Korean president assumes office.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK) Vu Ho joined the RoK’s Minister of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Startups Oh Young-joo and German Ambassador Wilfried Schmidt in a visit to Kyungdong, a traditional market in downtown Seoul, on September 13.

Vietnam has been doing its utmost alongside other ASEAN member states in realising the ASEAN Community, while fulfilling the Chairmanship 2020 for a cohesive and responsive ASEAN, said a Vietnamese official.
