Vinfast, Siemens sign deals for electric bus manufacturing

Vinfast Manufacturing and Trading Company Limited, a subsidiary of Vingroup, has signed two contracts on the supply of technology and spare parts for electric bus manufacturing with Siemens Vietnam Company.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vinfast Manufacturing and TradingCompany Limited, a subsidiary of Vingroup, has signed two contracts on thesupply of technology and spare parts for electric bus manufacturing withSiemens Vietnam Company.

They are key deals to begin the process of building a valuechain for eco-friendly public transportation vehicles manufacturing.

The first line of electric buses is expected to debut inlate 2019.

Vinfast is also developing other eco-friendly personalvehicles such as electric motorbikes and automobiles, and autos (sedan, SUV) thatrun on petrol meeting Euro 5 emission standards.

Vo Quang Hue, Deputy General Director of Vingroup in chargeof Vinfast project, said the deals reflect Vinfast’s commitment to churning outsafe, convenient and high-quality electric buses for a green future of theVietnamese people, adding that it will be a pioneering solution to changingpublic transportation in the country.

Nearly one year since its establishment, Vinfast hascompleted a series of important agreements with international partners to materialiseits vision.

Earlier, Vingroup also chose Siemens as a partner for thesupply of technological solutions to building digital enterprises, build asystem to monitor vehicles’ life cycle and operate Vinfast factory amidst thefourth industrial revolution.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
