Hanoi (VNA)🔜 – Vietnam’s largest electric vehicle maker VinFast has signed a strategic partnership with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA), one of Indonesia’s largest private banks, to boost its distribution network and support the growth of the EV ecosystem in the country.

Under the agreement, BCA will offer flexible credit packages to VinFast’s network of dealers in Indonesia. The financial support will help dealers purchase VinFast electric vehicles and genuine parts, with tailored credit limits for regular purchases, peak season needs, and bulk transactions. Both sides also have collaboratively developed favourable payment terms and efficient financial processes, helping dealer partners reduce paperwork, improve capital turnover, and enhance operational efficiency for local dealers.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Denny Haryanto, Senior Vice President Corporate Banking BCA, emphasised that as one of Indonesia's private financial institutions, BCA is dedicated to supporting and driving the nation's long-term economic growth, particularly within the burgeoning electric vehicle sector. The company currently operates 21 showrooms across major cities including Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali, and is expanding its service network through partnerships with Otoklix and BOS, aiming to reach 500 authorised service centres this year. VinFast is also investing in a new assembly plant in Subang to support local production and contribute to Indonesia’s EV industry. Strategic collaborations with EV taxi firm GSM and charging infrastructure provider V-GREEN further underline VinFast’s leading role in driving a sustainable future in Southeast Asia./.
