Vietnam’s oil exploitation exceeds set plan

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN)produced 14.27 million tonnes of oil during January-November, exceeding its setplan of 2.6 percent.

Of the figure, 12.49 million tonnes were exploited domestically, 2.7 percenthigher than the target.

In the period, the group produced 1.6 million tonnes of nitrogenous fertiliserfor farming, surpassing targets by 5.3 percent.

The group’s revenue as of November 25 was calculated at 437.8 trillion VND (19.35billion USD), 3.6 percent beyond the yearly plan and up 11 percent from thesame time in 2016.

Many member companies of the group have fulfilled their targets in the year,including Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Co., Ltd,  PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Company,Petrovietnam Transportation Corporation and PVOil.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
