HCM City (VNA) – A soft opening for Vietnam’s largest riverside park, Vinhomes Central Park, was held in the metropolis city of Ho Chi Minh on July 23.

Covered an area of 14-hectare land on the side of the Saigon River with a design inspired by the US’s iconic Central Park, the real estate conglomerate Vingroup developed the park at more than 500 billion VND (22.2 million USD).

The park is a part of the group’s apartment complex with the highlight being the highest skyscraper in Vietnam, the 81-story Landmark apartment.

The park is expected to create a green living space in the heart of the city and provide a healthy, pure environment for the public to relax, play and entertain.

The Binh Thanh district-based park houses 40 sections such as a Japanese-styled garden, a fountain, children’s playground and a picnic area.

On the occasion, a food and culture festival was opened at the park, attracting the participation of about 12,000 inv𝄹ited guests.-VNA
