Vietnamese women in Russia celebrate New Year

The Vietnam Women’s Union's chapter in Russia organised the “Homeland Spring” event at Sadovod shopping centre on December 24 to welcome Christmas and New Year 2024.

Moscow (VNA) – The Vietnam Women’s Union's chapter in Russia organisedthe “Homeland Spring” event at Sadovod shopping centre on December 24 towelcome Christmas and New Year 2024.

The event drew the participation of representatives of Vietnamese organisationsin Moscow, Russia’s charity fund “step forward”, and 50 Vietnamese women whoare working at Lyublino, Sadovod and Teply Stand shopping centres in Moscow.

Chairwoman of the chapter Pham Thi oanh said the event was an occasion for the Vietnamese women toshare their joy, look back at their achievements in 2023, and together wish for ablessing year ahead.

The women have promoted solidarity, supported each other, and made concertedefforts to build a strong community that contributes to the development of theVietnam – Russia relations, she stressed.

Jamilya Sabir Abdullaeva, a leader from thecharity fund “step forward”, delivered New Year greetings to the Vietnamesewomen, and wished them a year full of success and happiness.
