Vietnamese, Uzbek procuracies reinforce ties

Thetwo agencies signed a memorandum of understanding on their futurecooperation in Hanoi on August 12 during the visit to Vietnam by DeputyDirector of the Uzbek General Procuracy Khalimov Khakimbai Ashirovich,at the invitation of Prosecutor General Truong Hoa Binh.

The cooperation will be based on mutual respect, equality and mutualbenefits while conforming to each country’s laws as well asinternational commitments jointly pledged by both sides.

Earlier, at his talks with Deputy Prosecutor General of the VietnameseSupreme People’s Procuracy Tran Cong Phan, Deputy Director KhalimovKhakimbai Ashirovich said he wishes the two agencies will continue toboost comprehensive cooperation in the field.

The two sidesagreed upon cooperation orientations in the procuracy sector tocontribute to increasing the friendship between the two countriesfurther.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
