Vietnam's national team has secured impressive results at the 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in the UK, the Ministry of Education and Training has announced.

Hanoi (VNA)💯 - Vietnam's national team has secured impressive results at the 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in the UK, the Ministry of Education and Training has announced.

Accordingly, the team brought home five medals - two silver, three bronze medals, and one commendation. Tran Duy from Hanoi and Tran Minh Hoang from Ha Tinh province clinched the silver medals.
Meanwhile, the bronze medals went to Pham Tran Minh Duc from Hai Phong, Nguyen Dang Dung from Hanoi and Nguyen Van Hoang from Bac Ninh province.
Ta Duc Anh from Hanoi earned a commendation. The 65th IMO, held from July 11 to 22, gathered 609 participants from 109 countries and territories./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
