Beijing (VNA) – Twenty Vietnamesestudents in China participated in a beauty – talent contest held at the BeijingLanguage and Culture University in Beijing on March 23.

The contest, held by Vietnamese StudentsAssociation in China for the first time, was one of events celebrating the 67thanniversary of Vietnam – China diplomatic relations and responding to VietnamYouth Month. 

It aimed to honour appearance and intelligencebeauty of Vietnamese students, thus promoting their images as dynamic,confident, talented and creative students, said Vietnamese ambassador to ChinaDang Minh Khoi.

It served as a forum for students to meet witheach other while strengthening solidarity among Vietnamese students in Beijingand boosting friendly relations between Vietnamese and international students.

Visitors to the event were impressed bycontestants’ performances which featured their characteristics, talent andbeauty.

They also enjoyed traditional performances bystudents from China and Southeast Asian countries.- VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.

🌃 Chinese children explore Vietnam at Beijing exchange
