Hanoi (VNA) – “Cau vong khong sac” (Rainbow without colour) will be screened during the Vietnam Film Festival, which is taking place in Melbourne, Australia, from September 29 to October 6.
The film tells the story of a romance between the son and adopted son of Ms Yen. The two men live together, and one day, they announce their love to their family.
Ms Yen cannot accept it her sons homosexuality, with her lack of acceptance driving her son to death.
The film focuses on the relationship between parents and their children in Vietnam, where parents play a big role in their offspring’s lives.
𓆏 The movie, directed by Nguyen Quang Tuyen, competed in the First Films World category at the Montreal Film Festival 2015.
It was selected from 2,000 films from across the world to be screened at the 39th Montreal Film Festival.-VNA
