Hanoi (VNA)🅠 - All six Vietnamese students attending the 12th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in the Republic of Korea brought home medals, according to the Hanoi municipal Department of Education and Training.

Accordingly, Do Le Duy and Do Hoang Duy from the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted bagged silvers while Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Do Thanh Trung and Nguyen Kim Chung, also from the Hanoi-Amsterdam school and Vu Minh Ngoc from Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted pocketed bronzes.
The 12th IJSO was organised for 15 year-old students from December 2 to 11 by a council of internationally renowned scientists.
The tests comprised physics, chemistry and biology with fundamental scientific knowledge and required sensible analysis and logical reasoning. This year’s competition attracted 252 contestants from 44 nations and territories.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
