Moscow (VNA)෴ –Vietnamese Garment Company 9-5 presented the first batch of 500 reusable clothmasks to police officers in Plavsk city in Russia's Tula province on April 16, in aneffort to join hands with local residents to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company is planning tocontinue handing over additional 500 disposable and 500 reusable masks to thecity’s residents. The activity is alsoexpected to raise public awareness of wearing masks in the face of danger fromthe epidemic. As of April 16 morning,Tula recorded 44 more COVID-19 infection cases, raising the total number in the province to 174./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
