Hanoi (VNA) –Vietnamese and French businesspeople attended a get-together in Hanoi onNovember 10 on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13) and VietnamCorporate Culture Day (November 10).

Speaking at the event, ViceChairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam-France Friendship and CooperationAssociation Nguyen Lan Trung said the event will warm up a seminar on bilateraleconomic and trade ties next year.

The association wishes that Frenchand Vietnamese firms operating in each country would become a strong and unitedcommunity to boost two-way trade, he said.

French Deputy Ambassador toVietnam Olivier Sigaud said the free trade agreement between Vietnam and theEuropean Union, which will be ratified and take effect in the near future, willmake important contributions to promoting bilateral ties.

As Vietnam and France willcelebrate the 45th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and thefifth anniversary of strategic partnership next year, a number of high-levelmutual visits will be scheduled with an aim to step up trade activities.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
