– The Embassy ofVietnam in Mexico offered flowers at the statue of late President Ho Chi Minhin the embassy’s campus on May 18 on the occasion of his 130th birthday.

Speaking in front of embassy staff andrepresentatives of the overseas Vietnamese community, Ambassador Nguyen HoaiDuong highlighted the President’s remarkable contributions to the cause ofnational revolution.

He was a shining model of revolutionary heroismand solidarity in fighting, the ambassador said.

The diplomat called on the Vietnamese communityin Mexico to continue promoting the campaign of studying and followingPresident Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, as well as actively implementthe Vietnamese Party and State’s foreign policies, and contribute to thereinforcement and development of the traditional friendship and cooperationbetween Vietnam and Mexico./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
