Vietnamese cultural festival 2013 has introduced its special cultural identities to Australian friends in Canberra, Australia.

Thebeauty of Vietnamese culture was reflected through pictures, handicraftproducts, costumes, dances, folk songs and food that Vietnamese studentsin Australia had performed during the festival on October 4.

Vietnamese famous food such as spring rolls, sweet soup and porksausage were sold at the festival to raise fund to help Wutip tropicalstorm victims and poor Vietnamese children in remote areas, saidorganisers.

The Canberra Vietnamese Student Associationand the Australian National University Vietnamese Student Associationwere co-organised the event.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Hoang Vinh Thanh was also present at the event.-VNA

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
