Vietnamese, Cuban journalists boost ties

The Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Cuban Journalists’ Association have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the 2015-2020 in Hanoi on October 21.
The Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Cuban Journalists’Association have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation forthe 2015-2020 in Hanoi on October 21.

Under the MoU inked by VJAVice Chairman Ha Minh Hue and his Cuban counterpart, BarbaraVirginia Doval Martinez, the two associations agreed to boost theircooperation and promote professional experience sharing, thuscontributing to consolidating traditional friendship between Vietnam andCuba and promoting mutual understanding between the two peoples.

The two associations pledged to remain the exchange of visits toreview the cooperation and discuss specific plans for each period. Thetwo agencies will also act as bridges for developing links with pressorganisations in Southeast Asia and Latin America in the coming time.

Speakingat the signing ceremony, VJA Chairman Thuan Huu and Doval Martinezexpressed their hope that the document will open up a new stage for thetwo associations’ collaboration in the future.-VNA
