Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s Lilama Corporation has signed a contract tomanufacture and install mechanical equipment for a fertiliser plant in Brunei.

The signing marked the first overseas projectof Lilama that covers a complete course of material, equipment and humanresources supply.

The 23-hectare A/U fertiliser plant islocated at the Sungai Liang Industrial Park, 100 km away from Bandar SeriBegawan, the capital of Brunei.

Under the freshly signed contract, Lilamawill carry out about 80 percent of the plant’s mechanical workload, which mightincrease during its working course of 23 months starting December this year.

Director General of Lilama Corporation LeVan Tuan said the project has strict requirements on quality, progress, andlabour safety.

He revealed that during intensive periodsof the project, Lilama might need to deploy up to 1,200 workers.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
