A Vietnamese bride has been killed by her Korean husband in the Republic of Korea (RoK), police said on May 24.
The23-year-old bride, identified only by her surname of Hoang, was stabbedby her husband early on May 24 in Jeongto district in the northernprovince of Kyeongsang, according to initial information.
The 37-year-old husband, identified only by his surname Im, has been detained by police and the case is under investigation.
The victim arrived to live with her husband in the RoK in April last year and had a 19-day-old son.
