Vietnamese, Belarusian banking trade unions to share experience

Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Governor of the State Bank ofVietnam (SBV) Dao Minh Tu, who is also head of the trade union of Vietnamesebanks, met with a trade union delegation of Belarus’s finance-banking sector inHanoi on May 22.

Tu said he hopes the delegation’s visit willhelp enhance relations between the two banking systems, as well as betweentheir trade unions. 

This is also a chance for them to share tradeunion experience, and the trade union of Vietnamese banks hope to learn fromits Belarusian counterpart’s experience in caring for employees and performingtrade unions’ role in relation to specialised agencies, he noted.

For his part, head of the Belarusian trade unionof banking and financial workers AlexandreLikhtarovitch said the two countries share many similarities in tradeunion activities due to similar historical and cultural features.

He also pointed out the need to improve the capacity andworking attitude of trade union workers.

On this occasion, he presented an insignia ofthe Belarusian President to Tu.

As part of their visit, the Belarusiandelegation also had a working session with the trade union of the State Bank ofVietnam.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
