Vietnam Youth Federation presents 5,000 masks to Cambodian counterpart

Tay Ninh (VNA) - Chairwoman ofthe Youth Federation of the southwestern province of Tay Ninh Nguyen Thi Truc Mai on June 24 handed over 5,000 cloth masks to support the Cambodia Union of Youth Federations in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The gifts are worth 360 million VND (15,600 USD) sourced from the epidemicprevention and control fund of the Vietnam Youth Federation's Central Committee.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mai said through the donation,the Vietnam Youth Federation wants to stand side by side with the Cambodia Union of Youth Federations in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

She expressed her belief that with the great unity from both the Cambodian government and people, the country will soon overcome difficulties andchallenges posed by the pandemic.

In recent times, the Vietnam Youth Federation had also donated 25,000masks to the Cambodian Union of Youth Federations through the Cambodian Embassy in Hanoi inorder to contribute to the COVID-19 combat in the neighbouring country/.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
