Prague (VNA) 🅘– The Vietnam Young Initiatives forumwas held virtually on June 12, with Vietnamese students across Europe takingpart.

The event also marked the beginning of theInnocity 2021 competition for Vietnamese youths at home and abroad, which was ajoint effort between the Vietnamese students’ associations in Europe and the GlobalNetwork of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals under the auspices of the VietnamUnion of Science and Technology Associations, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association, and theAssociation of the Vietnamese in Europe. The competition aimed to seek solutions todeveloping smart cities and urban areas in Vietnam. Discussions at the event focused on the role ofyoung Vietnamese on innovation and ecological system in Vietnam, and supportfor Vietnamese at home and abroad in the country’s innovation. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, member of the VietnamYouth Federation and President of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in theCzech Republic, expressed her hope that new factors will be discovered at the eventto contribute to the homeland./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
