Ha Long city will host the Miss Tourism International 2015 beauty pageant from November 10 to 30.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism licensed the Elite Vietnam Company to organise the event.
Representatives of Malaysia-based D'Touch International Foundation, which founded the beauty contest, and Miss Tourism International 2014 Faddya Isabel Halabi Troisi from Venezuela came to Ha Long city to inspect the location in June.
The contest has been organised since 1994 and Vietnam participated for the first time in 2002. This beauty competition has mostly taken place in Malaysia and so far only once held in another country, China, in 2006. It is expected that this year's competition will bring together 60-65 contestants from countries around the world.

The first round of the Miss Vietnam 2015 contest will take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi while the semi-final and final rounds will run in Nha Trang city in central Khanh Hoa province, unveiled the Hoan Vu Joint Stock Company on May 5.
As many as 34 contestants compete in the final round of the Miss Mekong Delta pageant 2015, scheduled to be held in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho from June 1-27.
