Hanoi (VNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has approved the Ministry of Education and Training’s plan on the hosting of the 19th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) in 2018.
The Deputy PM requested the ministry to coordinate with relevant authorities to effectively carry out the plan.
In 2015, all eight Vietnamese students competing the 16th APhO in China won prizes, including two gold, three silver, one bronze medals and two certificates of merit (consolation).
ౠ Vietnam has organised several international Olympiad competitions, such as the APhO in 2004, the International Mathematic Olympiad in 2007, the International Physics Olympiad in 2008, and the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad in 2014.-VNA
