The Vice Chairman of the VietnamChamber of Commerce and Industry, Doan Duy Khuong, said that the annualevent has contributed to further deepening the bilateral cooperationbetween Vietnam and Singapore, as well as connecting more businesses.

Edlyn Khoo, Director of the InternationalEnterprises (IE) Singapore’s Ho Chi Minh Centre, said that Vietnam isenjoying strong economic development with a large number of labourersand abundant natural resources.

However, toattract more Singaporean and foreign investors, she suggested that thecountry needs to ensure a stable and safe business environment.

This year’s three-day forum focuses on the fields of financialservices, tourism, agro-fishery-forestry production and processing, andreal estate investment.

In addition, it also offers a chance for participating enterprises to showcase their products and services.-VNA

Max♓imum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
