The Vietnamese Government has sent medical masks to the Vietnamese community in central Russia to help them cope with complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia.

Moscow (VNA) – The Vietnamese Government has sent medical masks to the Vietnamesecommunity in central Russia to help them cope with complicated developments ofthe COVID-19 pandemic in Russia.

The maskswere transported to Russia on a recent flight of the Vietnam Airlines to bring Vietnamesein Russia back to Vietnam.

The Vietnam ConsulateGeneral in Ekaterinburg on June 3 handed over part of the masks to Vietnamese associationsin the city. It will continue to distribute masks to Vietnamese living in otherlocalities in the region.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
