Vietnam seeks applicants for Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the National Committee for Youth of Vietnam are looking for candidates for the 49th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP).

Hanoi (VNA) 🌞– The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union CentralCommittee and the National Committee for Youth of Vietnam are looking for candidates for the 49th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese YouthProgramme (SSEAYP).

The programme aims to strengthen friendship and mutualunderstanding between youths of Japan and those from the Association ofSoutheast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This is an opportunity for youngsters to exploreand experience different cultures in the region as well as improve their knowledgeand skills in a variety of fields.

Vietnam will send a contingent of 15 young delegates and a team leader to the programme.

May 10 is the deadline for candidates to submit their applications. The selection consists of two rounds, including registration form, interview, aptitude testand skills to organise group activities.

Taking place from November 4 to December 11, 2024, young delegates will live together on board the Nippon Maru Ship and will visit Japan, and some ASEAN member states.

🦂 During the journey, they will also pay courtesy calls to representatives of the hostcountries' governments, meet with local youths, visit offices, schools andlandscapes./.
