Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam finishedsecond at the recent CFA International Futsal Tournament in China.
Vietnam beat New Zealand 7-0 in the lastmatch on June 24 to become runners-up with six points after three matches.Russia took the trophy with nine points.
Earlier, Vietnam defeated China 4-0 andlost to world silver medallists Russia 6-2.
The three-day event featured four teams,namely New Zealand, Russia, Vietnam and China.
The team returned home on June 25 toprepare for the upcoming National HDBank Futsal Championship’s final round.-VNA

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
