Vietnam publishes Yearbook of Administrative Organisation 2009

The Vietnam Yearbook of Administrative Organisation 2009 has been published to provide information on the country’s administrative organisations for Party and State agencies, socio-economic organisations and people, contributing to information transparency in the process of administrative reform.

Speaking at a press conference to launch the yearbook in Hanoi onNovember 19, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Van Tat Thu said hisministry coordinated with the Statistics Publishing House under theGeneral Statistics Office (GSO) to issue the yearbooks in 2000, 2001,2004 and 2005.

To update information on changes in administrative units and systems ofadministrative organs at all levels, the ministry has entrusted theInstitute for State Organisation Science to implement the publicationof this book, he added.

The 1,110-page yearbook, with Vietnamese and English versions, includesinformation on the Prime Minister and deputy PMs, the Central and localadministrative organisation systems with addresses and phone numbers ofadministrative organisations and their leaders updated by June 2009./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
