Vietnam presents gifts to Cambodia’s solidarity front

– The Vietnamese Government on May25 presented three cars and three sets of computers worth nearly 300,000 USD tothe Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodia Motherland.

Defence Attaché at the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia NguyenAnh Dung handed over these gifts to permanent Vice Chairman of the front NhemValy.

Nhem Valy expressed the profound gratitude of the Cambodianpeople in general and the front in particular for Vietnam’s assistance.

He said that the gifts will help the front contribute moreto Cambodia’s nation building and development as well as the country’srelations with Vietnam.

Over the past years, the front has coordinated actively withthe Vietnam Fatherland Front, Defence Ministry and other ministries, thushelping consolidate and develop the traditional friendship and solidarity andcomprehensive cooperation between the two countries’ people.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
