Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT)and Vietjet Air signed in Hanoi on March 28 a Memorandum of Understanding oncooperation for 2019 – 2021.

Under the MoU, the two sides will work together to increase promotion on massmedia; introduce publications, documents and market researches; cooperate in aninternational tourism fair and Vietnamese tourism abroad; and organise domesticdestination surveys and events.

The MoU provides travel opportunities and convenience for Vietnamese people andinternational tourists, connecting Vietnam to destinations around the world,where Vietjet has direct flights.

This is also a concrete effort to contribute to the implementation of thegrowth target plan assigned by the Prime Minister to welcome about 18 millioninternational visitors to Vietnam in 2019.

With a wide flight network of 39 domestic routes and 69 international routes, Vietjetcurrently operates around 400 flights daily, carrying more than 65 millionpassengers to date.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
