HCM City (VNA)🎶 – The Vietnam Motor Show 2024 (VMS 2024) themed Accelerate to Green kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on October 23, featuring 19 automotive brands and nearly 300 exhibitors.

The five-day event marks the fourth collaboration of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vietnam Imported Automobile Manufacturers Association (VIVA), as well as the Vietnam Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (VAMM) for the first time.
This year's show includes a wide range of vehicles, with electric and hybrid models, underscoring the industry's shift towards eco-friendly technologies. In addition to the vehicle display, VMS 2024 offers interactive experiences and new technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy, artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality (AR). These features enhance visitor engagement and reflect the industry's commitment to innovation and sustainability. Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
