Malaysian ConsulGeneral to Ho Chi Minh City Shazryll Zahiran made the comment at ameeting to mark the 54 th National Day of Malaysia held in Ho ChiMinh City on Sept. 13.

A the event, Shazryll Zahiran and theChairman of Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Vietnam-Malaysia FriendshipAssociation Le Thanh Tam expressed their joy at the development ofrelations between the two countries, which have been expanded in manyfields, including politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, education andtraining, tourism, and defence and security.

Tam informed thatVietnam attracts more Malaysia investors in construction,electricity, water, oil and gas, mechanical engineering and banking. Oneof the typical examples in investment cooperation is MalaysianPetronas, which will celebrate 20 years of arrival in Vietnam thisyear./.
