Beijing (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi paid avisit to the Lao Embassy in Beijing on April 9 on the occasion of the traditionalLao New Year festival, Bunpimay.

Khoi wished LaoAmbassador Vandy Bouthasavong and the embassy’s staff a new year of health,happiness, and success.

The two ambassadorsreviewed developments in the Vietnam-Laos friendship, special solidarity, andcomprehensive cooperation.

The two embassies havecontinuously cooperated closely and affirmed strong support for each country’s causeof national building and defence.

They have alsocoordinated effectively in bilateral diplomatic activities and within theframework of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

On this occasion, staffof the two embassies presented art performances that praised the two countries’friendship. They also enjoyed traditional dishes of Vietnam and Laos. –VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
