Algiers (VNA) - Vietnam was a guest of honour at the first virtualinternational economic fair in Algeria, which is running from September 13 to27.

Accordingto Vietnamese Trade Counsellor in Algeria Hoang Duc Nhuan, the Vietnamesedelegation consists of the Vietnamese Trade Office in Algeria, the State-ownedHanoi Trade Joint Stock Corporation (Hapro), and the An Thai coffee group.

Othercountries participating in the fair include the US, China, the UK, India,Indonesia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.

AbderraoufMounir Doudi, head of the organisers, Andalus Trade, Show, Exhibits &Events, said the fair is a venue for companies and businesspeople from acrossthe globe to meet.

Customs figuresshow that Vietnam’s exports to Africa totalled 3.12 billion USD in 2019, up 8.1percent against 2018./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
