Moscow (VNA) –
Representatives fromthe Vietnamese Embassy and relevant agencies participated in the 21st Summer Diplomatic Games in Russia’s Tver province on August 24.

The Vietnamese officials competed in the four categories of football,billiards, fishing and family sports, and won a silver prize in billiards and abronze in men’s football.

The annual event is held by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aiming toenhance exchanges between diplomatic agencies in the host country.

This year’s tournament attracted the participation of nearly 40 diplomaticagencies and international organisations in Russia.

In his message sent to the Games, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov saidsports have helped to strengthen solidarity between countries and improve humanhealth.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
