Hanoi (VNA) - TheForeign Ministry has issued a press communiqué on the agreement on short-termtravel between V🍨ietnam and Japan.
Also known as the prioritytravelling mechanism for Japanese entrants to Vietnam for less than 14 days andfor Vietnamese businesspeople travelling to Japan, the agreement will be applicablefrom November 1. Priority cases will beexempted from quarantine to make it easier for them to conduct investment,trade, and diplomatic and consular activities. They will be tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causesCOVID-19, prior to departure and upon arrival, provide their itinerary inadvance, and only travel to work-related locations. Vietnamese andJapanese authorities will issue specific guidelines on the subjects,conditions, principles, and steps covered by the mechanism./.
