Vietnam, Japan exchange project 2017 kicks off

The Vietnam – Japan Exchange Project (VJEP) 2017 has been launched recently, aiming to establish sustainable relations between Vietnamese and Japanese youth.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam– Japan Exchange Project (VJEP) 2017 has been launched recently, aiming to establishsustainable relations between Vietnamese and Japanese youth. The project is hosted by the AsiaAssociation of Education and Exchange (AAEE) and its Vietnamese partners, namelyUniversity of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City – UEH, Nguyen Huu Huan high schooland the Youth Union of the southern province of Binh Phuoc. Themed “Sustainable Development”and “Cultural Exchange”, the programme will allow participants to discover andintroduce the customs of Vietnam and Japan while enhancing knowledge, Englishand other soft skills. Fifteen outstanding candidateswill be chosen after different rounds to participate in the project. Interested individuals can emailthe organisers at vjep2017.aaee@gmail.com for more information.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
