Vietnam, Japan banks provide joint financial services

Hanoi (VNA) – The Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) hasrecently entered into a strategic cooperation deal with Kiraboshi BusinessConsulting Vietnam, the representative of Kiraboshi Bank of Japan.

Under the deal, SCB will work closely with the Japanese partner to take care ofindividual clients of the partner living, working and traveling in Vietnam. Thetwo sides will provide financial solutions for corporate Japanese businessesoperating in Vietnam, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reported.

According to the two banks, such comprehensive cooperation will enable the twobanks to develop into a major financial cooperation alliance in the future thatis to support businesses and investors of the two countries.

They will also expand cooperation to serve clients of other countries alongsideVietnamese and Japanese ones.

SCB Acting General Director Jeremy Chen explained said that more and more Japaneseorganisations and businesses are interested in investing in the Vietnamesemarket, and this is why SCB has teamed up with the Japanese partner to providefinancial support and advice for clients./.
