Vietnam, Israel businesses sign health care cooperation deal

The signing was witnessed by visitingIsraeli President Reuven Ruvi Rivlin, Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tienand Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, among others.
The project covers 20 hectareswith three main components, including an electronic hospital and centreapplying electronic medical records to allow doctors to review a patient’smedical history online.
A five-star general hospital willbe built, using the latest technology and modern equipment. In the first phase,the hospital is expected to have 300 beds.
At the same time, a nursing andrehabilitation centre will also be constructed, providing a friendly andnatural environment for the recovery of patients.
A centre for medical consultation,research and development will also be developed.
According to Israeli Ambassadorto Vietnam Meirav Eilon Shahar, besides stepping up cooperation in agriculture,Israel and Vietnam are also focusing on health care partnership.-VNA
Vietnam attaches importance to the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation for peace and development with Israel, said Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
