Vietnam International Agriculture Fair to take place in Hanoi in December

Hanoi (VNA) – The 2020 Vietnam International AgricultureFair (AgroViet 2020) will be held in Hanoi in December due tothe COVID-19 pandemic.

The20th edition of the fair is to take place from December 3 to 6 on Hoang QuocViet street, Cau Giay district, according to Director of the Trade PromotionCentre for Agriculture (Agritrade) Dao Van Ho.

Morethan 100 localities and businesses had registered to attend as of early August.

Held bythe Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the annual fair attracts theparticipation of localities and domestic and foreign companies. It aims toexpand cooperation and link businesses with customers, while giving businessesa chance to strengthen their position in the domestic market.

It alsohonours high-quality agro-forestry-fishery and craft products and introducesscientific and technological advances in agricultural production.

AgroViet2019 drew about 200 domestic and international businesses.

Upto 250 booths were farming machinery and agricultural products that areregional specialties./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
