The move is in response to Decree No. 102/2013/ND-CP which regulatesthe management of foreign workers in compliance with the Labour Code.
Ata conference co-organised by the Ministry and the European Chamberof Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) in Ho Chi Minh City on January 27,participating delegates underlined the need to revise currentregulations in the field.

Of them, 55,200 were granted work permits, while over 15,400 others were processing paperwork to get the paper.
Foreign employees in Vietnam came from 74 countries worldwide, mostly from Asia (58 percent) and Europe (28.5 percent).-VNA
