Hanoi (VNA) – The VietnamGrand Sale 2023 will take place across the country from December 4, 2023 to January1, 2024.

The event will be held in both online and offline formats tofacilitate and attract the participation of businesses and producers fromdifferent economic sectors.

During the month, businesses will introducepromotion activities in diverse forms, aimingto offer goods and services of high quality and reasonable prices.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, theprogramme aims to boost domestic consumption and strengthen manufacturing andbusiness activities in order to contribute to the country’s economic recoveryand development.

Besides, it will also help increase awareness of domesticconsumers of Vietnamese goods and services through mass media activities.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
