“Vietnam Glory” honours outstanding individuals, teams

The eighth “Vietnam Glory” programme was held in Hanoi on August 15, honouring 20 outstanding individuals and organisations for their contributions to national emulation campaign and country’s construction and defence cause.

Addressing the function, Deputy PrimeMinister Nguyen Sinh Hung praised the winners for their achievementsand stressed that they epitomise Vietnam ’s strength.

The event was co-organised by Labour (Lao Dong) newspaper, Radio theVoice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television and the A Chau company.

This is part of activities to mark the 65th year of the AugustRevolution (August 19) and the National Independence Day (September 2),and the 1,000th anniverary of Thang Long- Hanoi./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
