Vietnam, German boost education cooperation

Minister Luan made theaffirmation at a reception given by the State Secretary of the GermanFederal Foreign Office, Martin Biesel in Berlin on May 6.

Germany will continue backing the project, emphasised Biesel.

Hesaid he hoped the two countries would promote bilateral cooperation ineducation and their schools would increase exchanges to boost mutualunderstanding.

Earlier, the same day, Minister Luan and hisdelegation held a working session with the State Secretary of theMinistry for Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg,Martin Gorholt.

During his three-day visit to Germany, MinisterLuan also met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in whichhe praised the community’s success and development and its integrationin the host country./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
