Vietnam, France share experience in public transparency, anti-corruption

Paris (VNA) ൩– A delegation of the Party CentralCommittee's Inspection Commission led by its Vice Chairman Nghiem Phu Cuongpaid a visit to France from October 29 to November 4 to study and exchange anti-corruption experience.

During the visit, the delegation met with the leaders ofFrance’s High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life (HATVP), theDirectorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs of the Organisation forEconomic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the Department of Code ofConduct and Ethics for Parliamentarians under the Office of the French NationalAssembly, leaders of the French National Institute of Public Service INSP(formerly known as the National School of Administration) and theGeneral Department of Public Administration under the French Ministry of PublicSector Transformation and the Civil Service. During the meetings,the two sides learned more about their similarities and differences in their corruption prevention and control mechanisms. On this occasion, the delegation also visited the VietnamEmbassy in France.  Their visit to France took place on a special occasion - the50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomaticrelations and 10 years of their strategic partnership. It also contributed tostrengthening multi-faceted and multi-channel exchanges between the twocountries and paving the way for cooperation ideas to be implemented in the coming time./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
